Oasis fans can catch the new documentary film Don't Look Back In Anger in UK cinemas from Wednesday, September 9, following its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 5.
The film documents the behind-the-scenes of the band's Live '25 reunion tour, which saw them play 41 shows across five continents between July and November last year. Co-directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, and written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, it features never-before-seen rehearsal footage, on-stage performances, and the first joint interview with Liam and Noel Gallagher since the tour began.
What the film includes
Describing the film, Knight said: "The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation. 'Don't Look Back In Anger' is not only your ticket to the show – it's a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was."
The film is set to be shown in cinemas for a limited time, although it has not yet been confirmed how long this will be.
Where to watch it in cinemas
Both VUE and ODEON have confirmed that the film will be shown at all of their combined 185 cinemas across the country, including cinemas in Manchester city centre and across Greater Manchester. It is also set to be shown at most Cineworld chains across the country.
Cinemas in Altrincham, Bolton, Salford Quays, Wigan, Stretford, Bury and more will also be showing the film from September 9.
Streaming on Disney+
It has been confirmed that the film will be released onto the Disney+ streaming platform in the UK after its limited cinema run. Filmmakers have said fans can expect the film on streaming later in the year. Internationally, it will also be available on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States.
