Tickets for Oasis' upcoming 2027 tour have sold out after a three-day sale sparked a massive scramble among fans. Every single ticket for the Britpop group's 42 live shows across Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, US and Ireland have sold.
It comes weeks after the Britpop band, led by Liam and Noel Gallagher, announced they would head back on the road with Oasis Live '27 following the success of their Oasis Live '25 reunion tour.
Liam Gallagher confirms sell-out
Liam posted on X: "That's all folks we have officially sold out no more tickets left congratulations to everyone who got a ticket and to the people who didn't sneak in f*** it yolo."
Fans who were successful in purchasing a ticket had to pre-register before being randomly selected to receive a unique non-transferable code to access an allocated on-sale window.
Highs and lows for fans
Some Oasis fans were jubilant while plenty of others were left bereft as the third and final window of ticket sales drew to a close at 8pm. Excitement to see Oasis play at Knebworth next year is reminiscent of the band's 1990s heyday when they played two sold-out gigs at the outdoor venue on August 10 and 11, 1996, when 2.5 million people scrambled to get their hands on 250,000 tickets.
As the sale wound down, some fans were bitterly disappointed. One wrote: "Another year of no Oasis tickets. I'm gutted and raging. You click the tickets to buy, then it loads only to say they're not available to buy. Why let me click them? Another shambles. Fuming. Felt like that was the last chance to see them in my lifetime."
But some people enjoyed some luck. One person wrote: "I hope you've all been lucky and manage to get tickets? I didn't get a code in the end but through friends and family have secured two Knebworth dates."
Fan frustration over sale windows
Oasis fans shared their frustration as they tried to secure tickets from the 5pm to 8pm window sale, the third of the day. One person wrote on X: "Got a code, got into buy tickets at 17:05 and no general admission already? I thought every sale slot had tickets. Clearly not. Missed out in 2025 because it thought I was a bot in every pre sale, main sale and now this farce."
Another added: "This Oasis sale is the worst yet, you queue get in add tickets and all unavailable even the ones you selected."
At the 5pm window, fans reported mixed experiences. One person wrote: "Oasis tickets. Crashed 3 times in the waiting room. Finally got in. 14 mins in the waiting room and still 4000 in front of me in the queue. So no chance I'm getting tickets for my slot. I thought this was supposed to work this yeah."
But others found that large queues disappeared quickly. Another user posted: "The queue goes down in minutes We were 8000 and got them in about 10." Yet another added: "The easiest Ticketmaster war EVER!! 248 in the queue and tickets secure within 4 minutes, thanks Oasis."
Second window closes with VIP complaints
The second window of ticket sales to see Oasis at Knebworth closed at 4pm, leaving some fans frustrated with several reports of VIP packages being offered for over £400. This afternoon's window of ticket sales ran from 1pm to 4pm, with a third round of sales set to open at 5pm.
One irritated fan posted on X: "Totally gutted not to get tickets tried for 3 hours and all was offered every time/date was VIP. Wont be getting mum brownie points from my son , was hoping for tickets for his 18th birthday present. Single mum so cant afford the high prices."
Another added: "No tickets available at normal prices just now but absolutely loads with shoddy coach and hotel packages." A third person wrote: "Sounds like the non-dynamic pricing has been replaced by hotel and travel packages. Why is it so hard to just give people value for money?!"
Millions of fans set to miss out
By the time the final ticket sale windows close on Sunday, it's probably fair to speculate that millions of Oasis fans will have tried and failed to buy any. According to TicketSource, it would have taken 112 Wembley-sized shows to accommodate every fan who tried to get tickets for their 2025 reunion tour. Around 10 million fans worldwide tried to secure tickets for Oasis' 2025 shows, when around 1.4 million tickets were initially released.
Ticket prices compared to 1996
Oasis famously played to 250,000 fans during two gigs at Knebworth in 1996. The price of a ticket was £22.50. Overall prices have risen by about 144% in the intervening 30 years, so that would be about £55 in today's money. The cheapest tickets for the 2027 Knebworth gigs are £170.50, more than three times as much as it cost to see them in 1996 in "today's prices".
