Nemesis has just landed on Netflix, bringing together stars from Grey's Anatomy and Snowpiercer in an epic crime drama from Power creator Courtney A Kemp. The eight-episode series, titled Nemesis, debuted on the streaming platform on May 14.
Plot Overview
The story follows LAPD robbery and homicide division detective Isaiah Stiles, played by Matthew Law, who is known as the department's golden boy. Stiles becomes convinced that beloved businessman Coltrane Wilder, portrayed by Y'Ian Noel, is secretly a criminal mastermind. The series explores how far each man will go to destroy the other in order to protect themselves.

Detective Isaiah Stiles - Matthew Law
Described by Kemp as the personification of anger, Detective Isaiah Stiles has a traumatic past but channels his experiences into a passion for fighting crime. Matthew Law is best known for playing O'Shon in Abbott Elementary, with additional credits including The Paynes, Agents of Shield, and The Oval.
Coltrane Wilder - Y'Ian Noel
Stiles' rival is a businessman and reformed ex-convict who continues to run illegal operations with an elite crew. Y'Ian Noel previously starred as Daniel King in HBO's Insecure and played the lead role of Dmitri Cimber in the horror film The First Purge.
Dr Candace Stiles - Gabrielle Dennis
Actress and comedian Gabrielle Dennis, known for playing Janay Brice in The Game and starring in the HBO sketch show A Black Lady Sketch Show, portrays Dr Candace Stiles. She is a high-end therapist married to Stiles who feels neglected as her husband's career always takes priority.
Ebony Wilder - Cleopatra Coleman
Wilder's wife runs a luxury real estate business while also assisting with their covert criminal operations. However, she begins to question whether their secret double life is worth the accompanying danger. Australian actress Cleopatra Coleman is best known for playing Erica Dundee in Fox's comedy The Last Man on Earth.
Amos 'Nightmare' Stiles - Moe Irvin
Moe Irvin, recognized as Nurse Tyler Christian from Grey's Anatomy, plays Stiles' father Amos. He is considered a legend by Los Angeles street gangs but a pariah in his family, still haunted by the death of Stiles' other brother.
Charlie - Sophina Brown
No-nonsense Charlie is Ebony's half-sister and Wilder's crime broker who brought the couple together, doing what she can to ensure her sister is well cared for. Sophina Brown starred as FBI agent Nikki Betancourt in Numbers and prosecutor Raina Troy in Shark.
Yvette Cruz - Ariana Guerra
Yvette is Stiles' partner in the robbery and homicide division. While fiercely loyal, she begins to question his obsession with catching Wilder. Ariana Guerra is remembered for starring as Gabriella Rosetti in Helstrom and Serena Chavez in CSI Vegas.
Nicolette Harper - Stephanie Sigman
Harper is another LAPD veteran with a close bond with her long-term partner Detective Viggiano. Stephanie Sigman plays Captain Jessica Cortez in SWAT and Valeria Valez in Netflix's Narcos.
Rick Viggiano - Mike O'Malley
Mike O'Malley, known for roles in Heels, The Good Place, and Abbott Elementary, as well as a major role as Sam Roche in Snowpiercer, plays Rick Viggiano. He is a hard-nosed detective who works as Harper's partner on the force.
