Tickets for the Tony Award-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical at London's Piccadilly Theatre have been reduced by up to 15 per cent in a summer sale, with some seats now available for as little as £34. The discount applies to eligible non-package tickets priced at £40 or more, according to the Express.
The ten-time Tony Award-winning production is currently playing at the Piccadilly Theatre and features a soundtrack with songs by Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Pink and Fatboy Slim. The show is described as packed with big-name songs, dazzling costumes and plenty of drama.
Sale runs until September 1
The ATG Tickets West End Summer deal launched on June 25 and runs until September 1, 2026, after which tickets will return to their usual prices. Theatre fans will need to act quickly to make the most of the saving, and terms and conditions apply before booking.
Moulin Rouge! is not the only show included in the sale. ATG Tickets are also offering discounts on West End productions including Wicked, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club and Arcadia.
What audiences say
The Daily Express previously reviewed the show, with critic Neil Norman describing it as "outstanding". He said: "The leads perform beautifully ... The well-drilled dancers divert attention from the loose plotting and some of the duller musical additions with spectacular sequences."
Audience reviews on TripAdvisor echoed the praise. One reviewer, Paul, said: "I have wanted to see this for a long time, well worth the wait! The Piccadilly theatre is transformed into the Moulin Rouge club, with vibrant colourful lighting before the show starts!" Another, Tara, added: "The show itself was amazing, a lot of effort had gone into the costumes, backdrops, dancing and especially the voice of the lady who played Satine was out of this world."
One criticism came from Mariana, who commented: "Overall good, great cast and I love the atmosphere but please do not allow latecomers to the show as it's very distracting." Meanwhile, a reviewer named Tofurry said the London production surpassed the one seen in Seattle: "This time, it was 100x better because we were able to get the can-can seats cheaper than getting decent tickets in NYC or even Seattle."
