Molly Rainford and Tyler West have given an update on their wedding plans, admitting they are enjoying being engaged and are in no hurry to tie the knot. The couple, who met on Strictly Come Dancing four years ago, got engaged during a romantic break in Mykonos, Greece, almost a year ago.
Speaking about the planning process, Tyler said: 'It's a whole other lifestyle, it's a full-time job.' Molly joked they would need to 'take a sabbatical' to consider their wedding day. The pair have not yet booked a date and are still seeking inspiration for their ceremony.
Tyler added: 'The one thing we came up against was people saying, "When are you going to get married?" We don't have a clue, we're actually enjoying being engaged at the moment. Why does everyone skip this middle part? What's so bad about this middle part?' Molly said: 'Once you're married, you're going to be Mr and Mrs forever, you're not going to be a fiancée forever.'
One of the biggest decisions they face is the choice of food, which Tyler said will take them 'absolutely ages'. Molly commented: 'I don't know what I'm going to fancy in a year's time.' Tyler added: 'It's so hard – especially if you're doing it abroad, you've got to make decisions and you're limiting your options.'
The couple also encouraged this year's Strictly contestants to enjoy the experience. Molly said: 'Just take it all in. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.' Tyler added: 'Just enjoy it, before you know it, it's over.'
