Directed and written by Christopher McQuarrie, known for Mission: Impossible, the project promises to explore Conan's life as an ageing king. Schwarzenegger revealed at the Arnold Sports Festival that the story follows Conan, complacent after 40 years on the throne, being forced out of his kingdom, leading to conflict, magic, and creatures. With modern special effects and studio backing, this film could be epic in scale.
Revisiting Iconic Roles and Legacy
King Conan isn't the only throwback project for the 78-year-old star. Schwarzenegger is also in talks to return to the Predator franchise and revive his role from Commando.
