Lewis Hamilton has declined to discuss his rumoured romance with Kim Kardashian, brushing off questions from the media during Formula 1 pre-season testing in Bahrain. The 41-year-old driver was asked about the reality TV star by written press on Wednesday but replied that his private life was off limits.
Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz revealed that he also considered asking Hamilton about Kardashian but decided against it after learning of the driver's response. Kravitz said: 'I know what you're thinking. Kravitz, you chickened out of asking him about his new relationship with Kim Kardashian. Well, I can tell you he was asked that in the written press. He was asked "Did you enjoy your company more than the game at the Super Bowl?" And he said, "It's my private life, I'm not talking about that." So that's me told.'
Hamilton and Kardashian, 45, were first seen together publicly at the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, sparking widespread speculation. The pair have known each other for over a decade and were photographed together in 2014 at the GQ Men of the Year Awards with their then-partners, Kanye West and Nicole Scherzinger. Hamilton is also a longtime friend of Kardashian's sister, Kendall Jenner.
While Hamilton is in Bahrain, Kardashian is in Los Angeles filming scenes for the movie The Fifth Wheel alongside Nikki Glaser, Brenda Song and Fortune Feimster. The couple were last seen together after Kate Hudson's New Year's Eve party in Aspen. Hamilton has previously been linked to model Ashley Moore and singer Raye, and had an on-off relationship with Scherzinger from 2007 to 2015.
