Katie Price and Reform UK politician Suella Braverman are to be chained together for a new Channel 4 show, with the pair unable to remove the handcuffs even for toilet breaks.

The celebrity edition of the programme, titled Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing, will see contestants endure being shackled to each other around the clock, doing everything in unison until they give up. Jonathan Ross hosts the show.

If the pressure becomes unbearable, contestants can choose to uncuff at any moment, but doing so means they are out of the running, with the last pair standing claiming the entire pot. So far, the pair have been seen in high spirits as they started the journey together.

Filming underway for celebrity spin-off

The competitors are a diverse mix from all walks of life and are strangers to each other, with filming for the spin-off having just started. It is unclear which other stars have agreed to be tied up 24/7, but Price and Braverman, who serves as Reform UK's Spokesperson for Education, Skills and Equalities, have been snapped getting started.

The social experiment drew in over two million views for its last series, and bosses hope that signing up some huge names will make the show a hit.

“Katie and Suella should prove to be a contentious match but may end up finding common ground,” a source told the Sun. “Obviously Katie is known for her outrageous life, whilst former Tory Home Secretary Suella has her own strong opinions too.

“But they are both mothers and have spoken about juggling a high-profile life with parenthood so may connect on that struggle. Bosses hope it will make great TV and maybe prove transformative for the celebrities too.”

Price's financial troubles

Katie could do with some extra income. At the peak of her powers, she was once worth an estimated £45 million, amassed through countless reality shows, book deals and brand endorsements.

Nowadays, life is very different for the 48-year-old, who has been declared bankrupt on two occasions. In 2024, Price hit rock bottom, having racked up an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

But never one to shy away from work, Katie had a cunning plan to rake in cash once again to maintain her showbiz lifestyle.
