Wayne and Coleen Rooney have allowed cameras inside their £20million Cheshire mansion for a new Disney+ series, The Real Rooneys. The documentary follows the couple and their four sons, Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass, as they navigate life with Coleen returning to work and Wayne staying home.
Fans can get a preview of the property through pictures Coleen has previously shared online, including Instagram posts from last year showing off her Christmas decorations.
A Grand Entrance and Living Space
The pictures reveal a grand, white entrance hall with white marble flooring and two large marble staircases leading to a mezzanine level. In the centre of the room, under a chandelier, sits a white round chair for putting on shoes. For the holiday, green tinsel was draped around the staircase bannisters.
Another picture of the family shows one of their living rooms, decorated in beige tones with brown wooden floors, light brown curtains and cream blinds pulled up to reveal french doors.
High Lake Manor's Amenities
The property, officially named High Lake Manor, is rumoured to have cost Rooney £4million for the plot of land back in 2017. It sprawls across 50 acres of former farmland and boasts six bedrooms, a football pitch, an underground tunnel, a wine cellar, a home cinema, a swimming pool, several bars and a trophy room for Wayne's achievements.
Pictures of the bars show a range of glasses lined up on shelves over black countertops, with grey high top chairs around an island. Another room features a circular bar with gold finishings and a stemware rack decorated with reflective panels.
Family Life in the Mansion
The couple moved into the mansion with their sons four years ago, having previously lived in a £1.3million mansion in Formby. Speaking in the documentary, Coleen said: “This house is everything I’ve dreamed of. As a little girl, you draw a house with a door in the middle and the same on both sides.”
Wayne and Coleen have been married since 2008, having met when they were 12 and started dating aged 16.
