A father from Liverpool has been left perplexed after his Ring video doorbell captured what appears to be a ghostly figure. Phil Johnson, 31, from Speke, reviewed the footage from January 7 and noticed a strange object moving past his head as he returned to his house after taking out the bins.
Johnson told the Liverpool Echo that the video initially seemed normal, but then it stuck for a few seconds before showing him walking back inside. 'Suddenly a strange object goes past my head. I have no idea what that is. I have watched it over and over still don't understand what happened,' he said.
The father, who said he does not believe in ghosts or the supernatural, described the incident as 'freaky' for his partner. 'Nothing like this has ever happened before,' he added. 'My partner thinks it's weird and is a bit freaked out by it. We have put it on social media and all our friends think it is strange too.'
Johnson, who has lived in the house for years, said he does not want any 'ghostbuster types' investigating the footage. Despite his scepticism, he admitted, 'I never used to believe in ghosts but now I do.'
