Jai Courtney has been cast in the upcoming 'Yellowstone' spinoff series 'The Dutton Ranch', which focuses on fan-favourite characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. The news was exclusively revealed by Variety.
Courtney will play Rob-Will, described as 'an imposing, unpredictable ranch foreman'. The actor is known for roles in 'Suicide Squad', 'Terminator Genisys', and TV series 'American Primeval' and 'The Terminal List'.
The spinoff sees Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their roles as Beth and Rip, with Finn Little returning as Carter. Annette Bening and Ed Harris also star. The logline states: 'Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are grateful for the peace they sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be.'
Chad Feehan serves as showrunner and executive producer, with 'Yellowstone' creator Taylor Sheridan among the executive producers. Christina Voros will direct. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
