Glowing reviews from fans
The action-packed battlefield drama has been given glowing reviews from history and film fans alike. Writing on Rotten Tomatoes, where the movie scores a 65 per cent rating, one wrote: "Excellent true sequel to Braveheart. Supreme directing, excellent acting, a captivating true story."
A second praised: "The acting and actors did a phenomenal job. It was a good classic medieval film. I enjoyed it and if you like medieval stuff you will too."
A third enthusiastic viewer commented: "It's been a long time since I've seen a movie made this well. The atmosphere, the acting, and especially the battles are incredible. The fight scenes feel raw, intense, and realistic - you can almost feel the cold and the mud with them. This movie is definitely in my top 10. It gives you chills. I highly recommend watching it."
A fourth added: "With amazing writing and great cast and wonderful directing, this movie stands toe to toe with it's cousin Braveheart. We need more war epics like this since they are rare these days."
