Ellie Taylor has been revealed as the new host of It Takes Two, the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off, taking over from Janette Manrara and Fleur East. The announcement was made live on BBC Radio 2 on Saturday (August 15) by Emma Willis, who was recently named one of the new hosts of Strictly alongside Josh Widdecombe and Johannes Radebe.
New presenter confirmed on air
During her radio programme, Emma revealed that former contestant Ellie Taylor would front the BBC Two show from September. “I'm absolutely over the moon,” Ellie told Emma live on air.
Janette Manrara and Fleur East had previously hosted the spin-off, but Janette announced earlier this year that she would not be returning, amid reports of a shake-up.
2026 line-up revealed
The unveiling comes just days after the 2026 celebrity line-up was confirmed. Gavin and Stacey actress Melanie Walters completed the cast on Wednesday (August 12). She will be joined by Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem, Chris Appleton, Cach Mercer, Will Best, Dame Sarah Storey, and Jaime Winstone.
The line-up is rounded out by Bethany Antonia, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Graeme Hall, Lawrence Robb, Tabby Stoecker, and John Nellis.
