Coronation Street is reportedly welcoming a new star to its cast, and she has some rather famous parents. The daughter of a Coronation Street legend is following in her famous parents' footsteps as she is reportedly making her debut on the cobbles.
Who Is Rosie Fleeshman?
Rosie Fleeshman is the daughter of actress Sue Jenkins and actor David Fleeshman, and the sister of Richard Fleeshman, who also appeared on Coronation Street. Sue Jenkins is best known for playing Gloria Todd on the ITV soap from 1985 to 1988, where she worked as a barmaid at the Rovers Return alongside Bet Lynch (Julie Goodyear) and Betty Williams (Betty Driver).
Family Acting Legacy
Sue Jenkins also played Jackie Corkhill in Brookside from 1992 to 2001 and made a brief appearance in Emmerdale in 2008 as Bonnie Drinkwater. Her husband David Fleeshman played 'bad boy' Charlie Aindow in the 1990s and has appeared in EastEnders, Emmerdale, It's A Sin, and The Teacher. Their son Richard Fleeshman played Craig Harris on Coronation Street from 2002 to 2006, later becoming a West End star and appearing in Call the Midwife, Death in Paradise, and Netflix's The Sandman.
Rosie's Role on the Cobbles
According to The Sun, Rosie Fleeshman has joined Coronation Street for a guest stint. While details of her character remain under wraps, fans are eager to see how she fits into the Weatherfield community. Her brother Richard's character Craig Harris famously romanced Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan) and adopted a goth lifestyle before leaving for Berlin in 2006.
