Queen Letizia's Pink Dress Echoes Kate Middleton's Style

Queen Letizia of Spain attended the inauguration of an exhibition in Madrid on Wednesday, wearing a vibrant pink dress that drew comparisons to a similar outfit worn by Kate Middleton last month.

The dress, called the 'Dellisi' from Hugo Boss, is a bright pink satin garment with a pleated tiered skirt and a shirt-style bodice. It is currently sold out on the brand's website, but similar styles are available from Max Mara and Zara.

Letizia accessorised with Caroline Herrera crocodile print slingback heels and small diamond earrings. The dress was new, a departure from her usual habit of rewearing outfits, which she does for environmental and budget reasons.

Kate Middleton wore a similar pink pleated dress in February to meet a young girl with leukemia. That dress also featured a shirt bodice and pleated skirt, but had a prominent collar and a matching belt instead of a waist tie. Kate paired hers with pale pink suede heels and a floral mask.

Both royal women are known for rewearing clothing and favouring high street brands like Zara. Kate owns multiple Zara blazers, while Letizia has an orange asymmetrical Zara suit.
