Apple Martin, the 22-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, is set to make her feature film debut in Nancy Meyers's upcoming untitled project, marking the director's return to cinema for the first time since 2015.
According to Deadline, Martin joins a cast that includes Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Erin Doherty, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Tony Hale, and Beverly D'Angelo. Plot and character details remain under wraps, but the Warner Bros production is reportedly semi-autobiographical for Meyers, originally conceived as 'Paris Paramount' at Netflix in 2023.
Meyers, 76, is writing, directing, and producing the film alongside Ilona Herzberg, with Diana Pokorny and Paula Case serving as executive producers. The filmmaker is best known for classics such as The Parent Trap, What Women Want, Something's Gotta Give, and The Holiday.
Martin's acting experience includes an episode of the HBO series Rooster in 2025. She recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in law, history and society, and has appeared in campaigns for GapStudio, Self-Portrait, and Chloé. In a February Vogue profile, she said she originally planned to become a lawyer but later pursued acting, making her directorial debut with a student musical at university.
