Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, is poised to make her feature film acting debut in an upcoming Nancy Meyers project. The untitled Warner Bros production will see Martin join an ensemble cast that includes Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, and Owen Wilson.
Meyers's return to directing
This film marks Meyers's return to the director's chair since her 2015 film The Intern. Described as a semi-autobiographical work, it is believed to be a reimagining of her previously teased Paris Paramount project. While specific plot and character details remain under wraps, Meyers has revealed that the story centres on “a group of people making a film and the magic and mystery of what we do.”
Apple Martin's journey to acting
Martin, 22, recently graduated from Vanderbilt University. She has already built a public profile in the fashion world and through student theatre, and has openly expressed her ambition to pursue acting professionally. The film is scheduled for a Christmas Day release on 25 December 2027.
