The first official trailer for Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey has been released online, offering glimpses of the star-studded cast. Matt Damon stars as the mythological hero Odysseus, with Tom Holland as his son Telemachus and Anne Hathaway as his wife Penelope.
The trailer showcases key characters, including Robert Pattinson as the suitor Antinous, and Charlize Theron as the nymph Calypso. It also teases mythological threats such as a whirlpool and the Cyclops.
Filmed entirely on large-format IMAX cameras, the reportedly $250 million (£184m) budget production is set for release on 17 July in the UK and US.
