Zoe Ball and Norman Cook, known as Fatboy Slim, were one of the most iconic couples of the late '90s and early '00s. The pair met in Ibiza in 1997 while working on a BBC Radio 1 show together, and married two years later at Babington House in Somerset. Their marriage endured a brief split in 2003 after Zoe's infidelity, but they reconciled and had two children, Woody and Nelly, before finally separating in 2016 after 18 years.
In 2017, Norman Cook spoke about the traumatic year during their split, revealing that his personal struggles had improved his music. He told the Daily Star: 'My music and shows have always been about escapism... Having hit a traumatic year, for those two hours when I'm on stage, I forget all my worries.' He added that he had made three new Fatboy Slim songs, which was '300 per cent more than I'd made in a few years'.
Zoe Ball later found love with cameraman Billy Yates in 2017, but their relationship ended tragically when Billy died by suicide in May 2017. In the documentary 'Zoe Ball's Hardest Road', she recalled their last goodbye: 'He got on his bike and he cycled off and he turned round and he blew me a kiss, and that was the last time that I saw him.'
Later that year, Zoe began dating construction firm boss Michael Reed, but they drifted apart and split in May 2023. A source said: 'They were arguing over really silly things... they started spending a lot less time together, went away on separate holidays, and drifted apart.'
