Zendaya has addressed why she has remained tight-lipped about whether she and Tom Holland have married, following speculation sparked by her stylist's comments. At the 2026 Actor Awards, Law Roach claimed the couple had already wed, prompting intense gossip that the actors have neither confirmed nor denied.
During an appearance on The New York Times's Modern Love podcast with her The Drama co-star Robert Pattinson, the 29-year-old actress explained her approach. 'I just feel like for me there is a level of parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand,' she said. 'I'm aware that I'm a public person and so is he, and I'm also aware that we've grown up in front of people and we've done movies where we fall in love with each other.'
Zendaya, who has been spotted wearing what appears to be a wedding band, added: 'But in a lot of ways, I'm also a very private person, and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.' She clarified that they are not hiding their relationship but preserving 'things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves' and their close circle.
The Emmy-winning star said she hears the gossip but maintains boundaries. 'I just try to find the balance in the middle there,' she noted. Zendaya and Holland got engaged in 2025 after four years of dating, having met while auditioning for 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
