Zendaya and Tom Holland are now reportedly officially married, having tied the knot at a lavish country estate in the UK earlier this week. The ceremony is said to have taken place on Tuesday at the Beaverbrook estate in the Surrey Hills, with the total cost believed to be around £500,000.
Secret ceremony details
According to The Sun, the couple rented out the entire Victorian estate for their celebration. The location holds significance as it is approximately 11 miles from Tom's hometown of Kingston-upon-Thames. The estate features a five-star hotel and has historical ties to former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
To maintain privacy, guests and staff were allegedly banned from using mobile phones during the event. An insider said: "Tom and Zendaya went to great lengths to stop any information or pictures getting out, so neither guests nor staff were allowed their mobiles."
Previous marriage claims
This reported wedding comes two months after Tom hinted the couple had already married. In an interview with Esquire in June, when asked about AI-generated images of the pair on social media, Tom quipped: "No, because they were all there," referring to his family's reaction. He added: "That's all you get on that."
The couple, who met on the set of Spider-Man in 2016, have starred together in the latest Spider-Man film, Brand New Day, and Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. The Daily Star has contacted their representatives for comment.
