William Shatner, the 93-year-old Star Trek legend, was spotted visiting a hair replacement centre in Los Angeles, looking remarkably youthful. The actor attended Denise Johnson Originals in the Encino neighbourhood, a non-surgical hair replacement service that promises lightweight and undetectable hairpieces.
Shatner wore a face mask during the outing, adhering to COVID-19 precautions. Los Angeles County has recorded over 1.2 million confirmed cases and more than 23,000 deaths from the virus, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The two-time Emmy winner was seen wearing his wedding ring, despite his divorce from fourth wife Elizabeth Martin being finalised in January 2020. Shatner, 28 years older than the Saddlebreds trainer, was recently spotted driving with her after the end of their 18-year marriage.
On his 90th birthday, Shatner received greetings from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and NASA, where he famously portrayed Captain James T. Kirk in the original Star Trek series and films. He now stars in the dramedy Senior Moment, released in US theatres and on demand in March 2021.
Shatner has announced an AI-powered partnership with StoryFile, launching in May, to preserve his memory and legacy. He continues to executive produce and host the History series The UnXplained.
