We Are Wirral Festival 2026: Full Lineup and Details

The We Are Wirral Festival returns to Birkenhead Park on July 18 and 19, bringing two days of live music, family entertainment and festival fun. Headliners include The Coral and Tinie Tempah, alongside a packed line-up of support acts, a circus, reality arcades, tree climbing and a traditional funfair.

Organisers say this year's event is set to be one of the biggest celebrations of live music and entertainment the Wirral Peninsula has ever seen. Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers can enjoy performances from some of the UK's top artists or enjoy the atmosphere while exploring the wide range of attractions across the park. With plenty of food and drink options alongside the entertainment on display, there's something for the whole family.

Stage Times and Entry

Saturday, July 18: 11am - 10pm. Sunday, July 19: 11am - 10pm. Live music begins from midday both days until the festival ends at 10pm. Last entry is 7pm. On first entry your E-Ticket will be scanned and you will receive a wristband. You must keep this wristband on to leave and re-enter. Any signs of removal or being tampered with will require the purchase of a new ticket.

Entertainment and Activities

There is a huge range of family friendly activities to enjoy around Birkenhead Park during the festival, including: Family circus, Actual reality arcade, The Grand Cavalcade, Tree climbing, Bushcraft skills, Fairground attractions.

What's Included in a Ticket?

All of the live music and entertainment is included in the price. Many group activities are also included with the exception of some which have very limited numbers. You will be able to book these in advance for a fee. Activity bookings are available and all ticket holders will be emailed in advance. The fun fair rides are an additional fee.

How to Get There

Birkenhead Park has excellent public transport links and is easy to walk to. The festival entrance is on Ashville Road less than five minutes walk from Birkenhead Park train station.

Train: The easiest way to get to Birkenhead Park is by Train. The closest station is Birkenhead Park. However, Birkenhead North and Birkenhead Central are approx. 15 minutes walking distance.

Bus: There are many bus routes that stop directly outside of Birkenhead Park. Visit travel line to help plan your journey.

Car: There are a limited amount of car parking spaces available for £10 per vehicle which must be booked in advance.
