Netflix's latest romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle promises to be a must-watch for rom-com fans this weekend. The heartwarming film follows a chef who copes with her sister's death by continuing to leave her voicemails. Unbeknownst to her, the number has been reassigned to a charming real estate agent who begins falling for the mysterious voice.
Main Cast
Zoey Deutch stars as Jill, a rising chef working at a fancy San Francisco patisserie. The actress is no stranger to rom-coms, having previously starred in Set It Up and Zombieland: Double Tap.
Nick Robinson plays Wes, the successful Austin-based real estate agent. Rom-com fans will recognise him from the 2018 hit Love, Simon and recent Netflix productions including Damsel.
Supporting Cast
The supporting cast includes comedy icon Nick Offerman as Jill's overbearing boss Chef Bastien. He's best known for his starring role as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation.
Rising star Lukas Gage appears as Arthur, Jill's colleague at the patisserie. After breakout roles in Euphoria and The White Lotus, Gage has become a familiar face in major productions.
Harry Shum Jr. (Grey's Anatomy) is Wes's best friend Andy, while Jill's sister Isabelle is brought to life by Ciara Bravo (Big Time Rush).
Other cast members include Spencer Lord (The Last of Us) as Scott, Gil Bellows (American Gods) as Jill and Isabelle's dad, Tanis Dolman (Fire Country) as Jill and Isabelle's mum, and the film's writer-director Leah McKendrick (I Know What You Did Last Summer) as Breeda.
