Vogue Williams has revealed her extensive use of Botox during a heart-to-heart with fellow campmate Ruby Wax on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. The Irish model and podcaster, 38, admitted to having 'loads of Botox' after Ruby, 72, quizzed her about cosmetic procedures.
Vogue told Ruby she had permanent lip liner tattooed and had been injected with Botox on either side of her nose, mouth, and beneath her eyes by a practitioner in Ireland who has a two-year waiting list. Ruby, known for her smooth complexion, confessed she too had 'a lot of that', adding that she had 'things removed and things lifted'.
Both women have previously spoken about cosmetic surgery. Ruby told the Guardian in 2009 she had 'tiny bits' of work, saying 'in TV, people don't tolerate ageing'. Vogue last year revealed she had 'neck-skin tightening', prompting husband Spencer Matthews to quip: 'Your neck is fine!' She also recently admitted to a 'lip flip' procedure on her podcast.
The NHS advises anyone considering cosmetic surgery to ensure the clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission and that the practitioner is a qualified, licensed doctor. Potential complications, aftercare, and what to do if something goes wrong should be discussed thoroughly.
