Victoria Beckham Opts Out of Spice Girls Reunion Tour

The Spice Girls have announced a reunion tour for summer 2025, but without Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice. The remaining four members—Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner—will perform across six UK stadium dates, including Manchester, Sunderland, and London.

This is not the first time the group has performed as a four-piece; Geri Horner left in 1998, and the others continued until their split in 2000. The band reunited for a 2007-2008 tour and last performed together at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.

Fans have expressed mixed feelings about the missing member. Holly Shorthall from Dublin said it is 'disappointing' that Victoria declined and that the others decided to proceed without her. She noted that the Spice Girls never felt complete with only four members. Michelle Dignan, a former tribute band performer, said she was 'gutted' but not surprised, adding that Victoria's fashion brand might be a factor in her decision.

Shorthall plans to attend the tour, having missed previous opportunities due to ticket sellouts and venue renovations. Dignan is undecided, recalling that a 1990s concert without Geri felt lacking and that the 2007 reunion felt 'a bit dated.' She compared the potential experience to a childhood dessert that might not live up to memories.
