Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has revealed how her journey to motherhood has transformed her relationship with her body. The 38-year-old, who married Ercan Ramadan in Italy in August 2024, says she has finally found peace with her image after years of struggling with diet and exercise obsession.
Speaking about her new swimwear collection for Little Mistress, Vicky said the range is designed to make women feel their best, stocking sizes 6 to 24. A source close to the star said her radiant glow is down to finding balance in her life, adding: 'In the past, she'd always fail on diets. She felt she was never doing them right and was so tough on herself. Now she's more easy-going with it.'
Vicky has spoken candidly about her past struggles, admitting she once dropped from a size 16 to a size 6 in under a year but was still unhappy. She recalled: 'I was around 8 stone, exercised twice a day, obsessively calorie counted... I still thought I was fat.' Now, she focuses on healthy habits like morning Pilates and cutting down on carbs and junk food, while moderating her alcohol intake.
The star's desire to start a family with Ercan has been a key motivator. As seen in her TV series 'Vicky Pattison: Maybe Baby?', the couple are trying to conceive, and Vicky previously froze her eggs at 35. The source said: 'Trying to get pregnant is obviously part of the reason she's on this health kick. She'd love to start a family and really wants that future with Ercan.'
Vicky's new-found confidence has also strengthened her relationship. The source noted: 'Because she's happier in herself, he feels like he's getting Vicky at her best – full of energy, positive and relaxed. She's glowing and not getting upset or ratty with him.'
