Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has launched a fierce defence of her happiness after a social media troll attempted to shame her past behaviour. The incident occurred as the 38-year-old celebrated her seven-year anniversary with husband Ercan Ramadan.
A Vile Comment Sparks Fiery Response
While sharing loved-up anniversary photos on Instagram, a user with the handle 'Kourtzyclaire' posted a cruel remark. The comment suggested Ercan was marrying a woman who made money "from sex & being drunk" on television, questioning the state of the world.
Pattison did not hesitate to fire back. "Sometimes it's difficult to put your past behind you when women like this dredge it up every so often for some weird power play," she wrote in a now-deleted reply. She accused the troll of trying to "dampen her happiness" to make themselves feel better, labelling the behaviour "weak sauce."
She concluded her retort with a sharp, modern put-down: "It's 2025. Do better... I do know it's giving PICK ME energy and it isn't cute hun. Anyway, not today, satan... NOT TODAY!"
Celebrating a Love That Overcame the Past
The reality TV personality, who shot to fame on the raucous MTV show Geordie Shore in 2011, has long since moved on from her partying image. She quit the series in 2014 and has since built a successful media career, including appearances on I'm A Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing.
Her relationship with Ercan Ramadan, which began in 2019, marked a turning point. The couple had two wedding ceremonies in 2024: one in August and another in Italy the following month.
In her emotional anniversary post, Vicky recounted their first date, revealing she texted friends saying, "Buy a hat, lasses, I'm going to marry this man!" She praised Ercan as her best friend and the "best husband," celebrating seven years of travel, building a home, and supporting each other's dreams.
Leaving Geordie Shore Behind
Pattison has been candid about why she left the show that made her famous. In a 2021 podcast, she explained the format didn't evolve, remaining focused on people in their thirties getting drunk multiple nights a week. "For me, I definitely wanted something different," she stated, distancing herself from that chapter of her life.
This recent clash with an online troll underscores the persistent scrutiny she faces, despite her clear personal and professional growth. Her response highlights a zero-tolerance approach to those using her past to attack her present happiness with Ercan Ramadan.
