Vernon Kay has liked Tess Daly's bikini pictures weeks after they split. The Radio 2 star, 52, married former Strictly Come Dancing host Tess, 56, in 2003 and they went on to have daughters Phoebe, 21, and 16-year-old Amber together.
In May, the TV favourites announced their decision to split and now Tess has taken to Instagram to share a string of bikini pictures as she soaks up the sun on a holiday to Greece. She also posed in other outfits as she enjoyed the getaway following the big announcement.
Phoebe was one of the first to comment, and she wrote: "OK STUNNNNINGGGG," and Tess replied to her eldest with a string of red heart emojis.
Tasha Ghouri, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2022 and reached the Strictly Come Dancing final in 2024, wrote: "Gorgeous," as other fans also piled into the comments section of the post.
But, perhaps most surprisingly of all, Vernon pressed the like button on the post as he seemingly gave his approval but did not make any further comment.
It comes just over a month after Tess was seen partying the night away with Vernon at the food and music extravaganza in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. As Vernon was still wearing his wedding ring, some fans have been left hopeful that a reconciliation could be on the cards. Last week, Vernon's father broke his silence on their break-up and urged his son not to rush into another relationship too soon, saying he still has "plenty of time".
While Tess and Vernon are clearly doing their best to remain on friendly terms, their marriage hasn't always been plain sailing in the past. The pair were famously rocked by a sexting scandal in 2010, after Vernon was caught sending flirty messages to former glamour model Rhian Sugden.
Six years later, there was more heartache for Tess after it was revealed Vernon and Rhian, 39, had again been in contact. However, Vernon insisted there was "never any inappropriate intent" to their communication and stated he was merely "trying to find answers to questions that I've had since 2010".
The pair shocked fans with their initial statement announcing their split, which was released at the beginning of May. A joint statement posted to Instagram read: "After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably. This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us. We remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority. There are no other parties involved in this decision. We kindly ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this transition together. We will not be making any further public comments. Tess and Vernon."
Tess and Vernon met in 2001 when they were working together on Top of the Pops@Play, a short-lived spin-off of the staple music programme. In 2024, Vernon described their meeting when he was hosting his BBC Radio 2 show. He explained: "It was Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly and I, [we] recreated the video for Britney Spears' Hit Me Baby One More Time. That's how we first met. She was dressed as Geri Halliwell in the Spice Girls Union Jack dress; I was dressed as Britney Spears in the Hit Me Baby One More Time video. It was in a charity shop on Shepherd's Bush Green."
