Vanessa Feltz Returns to This Morning, Discusses Age-Gap Romance

Vanessa Feltz made a return to ITV's This Morning on Monday (August 10), appearing in the Morning Views segment with presenters Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes. The 64-year-old, who quit the show last year, joined guest Ashley James to share her opinions on various topics, including age-gap relationships.

Age-Gap Relationships and Personal Experience

When the conversation turned to women dating younger men, Vanessa admitted she wouldn't share from her own experience. However, she did discuss the dynamics of such relationships, mentioning feeling like a "mother" to an older man, which she "didn't want to be."

She said: "The sex, however, ought to be spirited and energetic at least. But I wonder whether the younger generations lack a little refinement in that area." She added: "I'm only wondering and speculating because I'll never discuss my sex life on television. For a larger fee, I probably would, not for this pathetic amount."

Past Relationship with Ben Ofoedu

Vanessa was previously in a 16-year engagement to singer Ben Ofoedu, who was 10 years her junior. Their relationship ended in February 2023 after allegations of infidelity. Ben later acknowledged betraying Vanessa's trust after having sex with another woman he met while touring with his band Phats & Small.

Vanessa detailed the split in her memoir, Vanessa Bares All. Talking to Mail Online, Ben said: "We haven't made peace, and I don't speak to her." He added: "She wrote some terrible things about me in her book, and I felt there was no need for it."

New YouTube Show

Vanessa also confirmed she's following in Holly Willoughby's footsteps by creating her own YouTube show titled At Home With Vanessa. Filming kicks off this week, with the star saying the show will be an "adult version" of The Big Breakfast.
