US rapper Tyler, The Creator brought out fellow rapper ASAP Rocky during his second night at London’s All Points East.

The 35-year-old also brought out British singer Rex Orange County during an explosive set packed with pyrotechnics, which drew heavily from his latest albums Chromakopia and Don’t Tap The Glass.

Energetic opening and guest appearances

He opened Saturday’s show with an energetic rendition of Big Poe, while Sugar On My Tongue had the crowd hanging on the rapper’s every word.

After performing Who Dat Boy with ASAP Rocky, Tyler, whose full name is Tyler Okonma, said: “Make some motherf****** noise for ASAP Rocky.”

The guest rapper, 37, who is married to Barbadian superstar Rihanna, replied: “I think it’s really cute that we’re both in our mid-30s and we’re really tired right now.” Tyler added: “Wow, my back.”

Crowd reactions and stage antics

During his set, Tyler called out yesterday’s crowd, calling them “dead”, before praising the Saturday attendees for being “turnt” as soon as he came out. He added: “Y’all have lifted my spirit.”

Standing in the middle of the impressive stage set-up which included a mock Tube train and station, the rapper finished by saluting the crowd and then throwing both his shoes into the audience.

Friday headlining set

The rapper also headlined on Friday when he mentioned being banned from entering the UK by former prime minister Theresa May in 2015 over controversial lyrics from his early albums, saying “thank God… Theresa May is gone” adding later “when they banned me that really changed a lot for me” and “she’s stupid and now I gotta prove she made a mistake”.
