Travis Kelce Reveals He 'Had No Idea' What He Ordered at London Indian Restaurant with Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce 'Had No Idea' What He Ordered at London Indian Restaurant

Travis Kelce has lifted the lid on his brief trip to London with fiancee Taylor Swift, saying the luxury Indian restaurant they went to was the 'second best' Indian food he's eaten in his life - but he had no idea what he was ordering.

The NFL star is expected to marry Swift in the coming weeks but the couple headed to London and then on to Greece to attend the wedding of George Karlaftis, Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammate.

While in England, Kelce and Swift also dined out at Gordon Ramsay's 'Lucky Cat' restaurant and saw Stranger Things star Sadie Sink perform in Romeo and Juliet.

But it was the Indian restaurant, Gymkhana, that was the biggest talking point for Kelce and his older brother Jason on the latest episode of their 'New Heights' podcast - given how Jason continues to joke about his younger brother being a fussy eater.

'It was one of the most surprising meals I’ve ever had,' Travis said. 'Every dish they brought out, I didn’t ask a single question. I just dove in. The only question I had to answer was how hot, spicy. I don’t think I really understood what we were ordering.'

'I just kind of went with what the table was getting. It was a table consensus, we went more on the mild side.'

Kelce, 36, said the food was 'f***ing remarkable' and 'phenomenal' but said the best Indian food he has had was made by his personal chef, Kumar Ferguson.

'I had the best Indian food - well, I’ll say second because Kumar makes the best,' he said, tipping his hat to his close friend.

Jason again alluded to Swift's influence over his brother's eating habits, saying previously Travis would never have eaten curry with him.

'That place sounds awesome,' Jason said. 'I love Indian food. You were a little bit upset that we were referring to you as a picky eater. You don't think that's accurate.'

'No,' Travis laughed. 'It's not accurate at all. But I was at one point. I give you credit, you opened up the curiosity of eating.'

Last week, the three-time Super Bowl winner admitted that Swift has encouraged him to eat more adventurously.

'I try to act like more of a man when I’m around her and eat foods I haven’t tried before,' Kelce admitted.

He was also impressed by Sink's performance in Romeo and Juliet, telling his brother: 'Sadie was phenomenal as Juliet.'
