The Traitors winner Leanne Quigley and her fiancée Sophie Jones have split after more than seven years together. Sources said the couple, who are parents to twin sons, "grew apart" over the years.
Couple confirm separation
Leanne, 30, and Sophie, 33, had been a couple for more than seven years. A spokesperson confirmed: "We can confirm Leanne and Sophie have separated; their focus continues to be their two beautiful boys."
Speaking to The Sun, a source commented: "It's a very sad, but amicable split. They grew apart over the years but will continue to co-parent their boys."
Wedding plans shelved
The news comes after Leanne previously said she wished to marry Sophie at Ardross Castle, the Scottish castle where the BBC One programme is filmed. Speaking last year shortly after her win, Leanne said: "We have got wedding planning to do."
After Sophie was given the all clear, having battled breast cancer, Leanne told the Mirror last year: "We had wedding planning to look forward to, rather than just doom and gloom." She added: "We joked we could get married in The Traitors' Castle in the Highlands! But like Sophie, I don't really care as long as there's family and good vibes."
Family journey
During their pregnancy, through IVF, Leanne carried their twins through Sophie's eggs and a sperm donor. The couple fell pregnant on their first try, something they said they were "very lucky" with.
Speaking about how she and Sophie met, Leanne previously told Giovanna Fletcher: "We actually met on Instagram, but she was in the army as well, so she was based in Staffordshire. I was based up north in Catterick. We went on a date. It was just meant to be dinner, and I didn't leave for three days."
Leanne went on to reveal that she and Sophie spoke "very early on" about having children, saying: "It's a lesbian thing, you know. They meet a woman, and next thing you know, they've moved in, and they're engaged after a week."
