Former The Only Way Is Essex star Tom Pearce has reportedly split from his fiancée, Rebecca Walker. The couple became engaged three years ago during a lavish proposal in Bali, but their relationship is said to have broken down some time ago.
According to sources, Tom, 35, and Rebecca agreed to end their engagement several years ago, with one insider claiming they quietly split last year. The reality star, who first appeared on the show in 2012, has since moved to Dubai, where he works as an equity trader and has stepped away from the public eye.
A source told The Sun: "They quietly split last year. It's really sad as they were very loved-up and he did this big proposal in Bali, but unfortunately, things didn't work out." They added: "Tom keeps a low profile these days, and has moved on from this time on TOWIE, so he didn't want to put a big announcement out there."
Tom announced his engagement on social media at the time, sharing a photo of himself down on one knee inside a heart made of petals, with Rebecca appearing shocked. He captioned the post: "The girl said yes!" The post has since been deleted from his Instagram account.
During his time on TOWIE, Tom became involved in storylines with Lauren Pope, Lucy Mecklenburgh and Lauren Goodger, and often clashed with co-stars Ricky Rayment, Mario Falcone and Elliot Wright. His relationship with Lucy ended when she said she did not want another serious commitment.
