Tommy Fury has faced criticism after questioning Kim Kardashian's use of nannies, despite revealing he and Molly-Mae Hague also have childcare assistance. The boxer discussed the reality star's parenting arrangements on his What The Fury podcast with his father, John Fury.
Podcast Comments Spark Backlash
During the episode, the pair discussed reports that Kim has a large team of nannies helping to care for her four children with ex-husband Kanye West – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. John Fury did not hold back, declaring: "If you can’t look after these kids yourself, don’t have them."
Tommy initially acknowledged they didn't "know the full story" but went on to question parents who rely heavily on childcare. "I don’t understand people who just dump the kids with nannies and mannies all day…" he said.
Admission of Own Childcare Help
However, the former Love Island star then revealed that he and Molly-Mae also have help with their daughter Bambi, three, and baby son Midas, born in June. Explaining the difference, Tommy said: "I’m all for having some help on board and help you out – me and Molly, we have help. But we’re with Bambi every day, all day; it’s only if I’ve got to go on a call or Molly’s on a call or we’ve got to shoot out. The baby’s looked after all the time."
His comments drew criticism from listeners who pointed out the apparent hypocrisy. One person hit back: "Leave the woman alone. I can do with 15 nannies as a busy working mother. Not easy. We need and can do with the help. Men judging a hard working business woman."
Social Media Reaction
Another branded the comments hypocritical, writing: "A man with a full time nanny judging a woman with a full time nanny!" A third added: "Men. Mansplaining what they have no clue about."
While another critic claimed: "[Tommy and Molly] have someone on call 24/7 so his argument is completely invalid. Honestly, these people are deluded!"
Kim's Childcare Arrangements
Kim has previously been reported to have an extensive childcare operation to help balance raising her children with her business commitments. It has been claimed her nannies work on a rotation, with childcare available seven days a week and overnight support. Each team member is reportedly briefed on the children's individual needs, while a night nanny prepares everything for the following morning, including school supplies and sports kits. Other nannies reportedly begin work from 6am and complete 12-hour shifts.
Kim welcomed all four of her children during her marriage to Kanye West. The former couple married in 2014, with Kim filing for divorce in 2021 and the divorce finalised the following year.
