Tom Holland and Zendaya were spotted enjoying a date night in London just days after their private wedding celebrations, which were reportedly 'charged with emotion'. The couple, who met on the set of Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and got engaged in December 2024, were seen driving around in a vintage Jaguar, with Tom behind the wheel and his wife beside him.
Private Wedding at Beaverbrook Hotel
The couple hosted a second round of celebrations at Surrey's Beaverbrook Hotel, having confirmed they secretly tied the knot earlier this year. According to The Sun, they rented out the entire Victorian estate for a private £500,000 vow exchange, with close friends and family staying in cottages on the property.
Despite their efforts to keep the day private, Tom was inevitably overcome with emotion when he saw Zendaya walk down the aisle. A source told the publication: 'All the guests were left in no doubt that the wedding and the ceremony were the real deal.'
'All the rumours before were just encouraged to keep people off the scent and make sure the day was just about them and their closest friends and family. It was an incredible day full of love and charged with emotion.'
Guests Banned Phones
Guests staying at the venue, which boasts 56 rooms and suites, were banned from bringing phones, leaving them with only their memories of the special day.
In March, Zendaya's stylist Law Roach appeared to confirm the marriage on a red carpet, saying: 'The wedding has already happened. You missed it.' Later, at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere, he added: 'I don't think so. I think that people should congratulate them. It's two young, beautiful, successful people that are in love, and they had a private wedding, and they got away with it.'
Tom Addresses AI Images
Tom later addressed AI-generated images that circulated on social media. Speaking to Esquire UK, he was asked if he felt the need to talk to family members about the snaps. He replied: 'No, because they were all there… That's all you'll get on that.'
Zendaya has yet to discuss the nuptials and prefers to keep her relationship with Tom off limits. She told the New York Times' Modern Love podcast in April: 'I just feel like, for me, there is a level of parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand.'
'I'm aware that I'm a public person and so is he, and I'm also aware that we've grown up in front of people and we've done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that, and I don't want to dismiss that like, "Stay out of my business" or whatever.'
She added: 'In a lot of ways, I'm also a very private person, and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.'
