Former Good Morning America co-anchors Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have announced their engagement, three years after their relationship sparked a scandal that led to their departure from the programme. The couple revealed the news on Tuesday's episode of their podcast, TJ & Amy, with Robach stating they had been engaged for about a month.
Holmes referenced the 2022 cheating scandal, during which the pair were taken off air after photos emerged of them together while both were still married to their respective spouses. The couple have since clarified that they were in the midst of divorce proceedings when their relationship began.
Robach was previously married to Tim McIntosh and Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to Amy Ferson and Marilee Fiebig. The two first publicly discussed their relationship in December 2023, a year after the scandal broke.
During the podcast, Robach revealed she had been wearing her engagement ring in public at football stadiums without anyone noticing. The couple did not provide details of the proposal but said they would share the full story in the future.
