TikTok user claims to be trapped in 2027 after extinction

A man claiming to be a time traveller from 2027 has posted a viral TikTok video showing what he says is his life in a deserted city in Spain. The user, known as Javier and going by the handle @unicosobreviviente, says he is the only surviving human after a mass extinction event and remains trapped and alone.

Javier has been sharing clips on contemporary social media platforms, building a large following. His latest video shows him walking through a secret passageway that resembles a nuclear shelter. He says he must adapt to isolation as he will be "here alone forever."

Footage of abandoned streets

Earlier clips showed a supposedly abandoned Valencia. Javier described waking up in a hospital with no memory of events and capturing the empty streets for his TikTok followers. He said: "I just woke up in a hospital and I don't know what might have happened. Today is February 13, 2027, and I am alone in the city. Humanity has been extinct, there is no one in shopping centres."

In the footage, the shop appears vacant but lighting remains on, shelves are stocked, and the internet clearly works as he uploaded the video. Javier recorded himself descending concrete steps into a passage that looks like a nuclear bunker. A caption read: "I'm tired already. I no longer know what to do or where to look. I think I'll have to get used to being here alone forever."

User reactions

After navigating reinforced concrete corridors with light bulbs, he reached stairs blocked by a glass panel. One user commented: "Well, at least there's TikTok in the future." Another asked: "Are you still stuck in time?" and someone else wrote: "Go to the Apple store, please. I need to see the iPhone 14."

Some users questioned how electricity was available in a post-apocalyptic future. Javier responded: "Most likely there is a type of connection between 2021 and 2027."
