Tess Daly has shared a series of photos from a family ski holiday in the French Alps, days after her daughter Phoebe announced she is relocating to New York City. The 56-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing host took to Instagram on Friday, posting snapshots of herself, husband Vernon Kay and their 21-year-old daughter Phoebe.
In the images, Tess wore a cosy white woolly jacket and cream trousers, with black boots and chic sunglasses. Phoebe opted for a shiny silver coat paired with burgundy and white patterned trousers and a dark handbag. Vernon, 51, dressed in a black jacket, trousers and beanie hat. The couple, who married in 2003, are also parents to Amber, 16.
Tess captioned the post: "Hitting the slopes for the first time since I was 17 made for an eventful trip last week." The holiday comes after Phoebe shared news of her move to the Big Apple, posting a photo from a rooftop bar on Thursday with the caption "Home for a while..." and updating her bio to "Heyyyy LDN/NYC".
The relocation appears to be temporary, with Phoebe having been in the UK for the final of Strictly Come Dancing, which marked the last live show hosted by her mother and Claudia Winkleman. The pair were honoured with a tribute video, during which Craig Revel Horwood read a letter from Queen Camilla praising their partnership and wishing them well.
Tess, who began hosting the BBC show in 2004, announced her departure in September alongside Claudia. Phoebe later paid tribute to her mother on Instagram, describing her as "a true inspiration" and saying she would "forever be the show's number one fan".
