Tess Daly has been enjoying a solo trip to New York City with her eldest daughter Phoebe, following her recent separation from husband Vernon Kay. The former Strictly Come Dancing host, 57, shared a series of photos on social media, showcasing their time exploring the Big Apple.
In one image, Tess wore a patterned pink trouser ensemble while standing with her look-alike daughter at night. Another picture showed her in an all-white outfit during a daytime outing. The duo visited the Brooklyn Bridge and NBC Studios, soaking up the sights and sunshine.
Tess captioned one post: "NYC with my best girls #HelloGorgeous," and another: "Over and out NYC." This trip is one of several holidays she has taken since announcing her split from Vernon Kay last month, ending 22 years of marriage.
Despite the separation, the estranged couple have maintained a cordial relationship. They were recently spotted at Pub in the Park, enjoying cocktails and beers with mutual friends, including actor Will Mellor. According to reports, both were seen wearing their wedding rings as they danced to Craig David.
Tess and Vernon married in 2003 and share two daughters, Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16. Tess stepped down from her role as Strictly co-host earlier this year after 21 years, alongside Claudia Winkleman, describing it as "an absolute dream."
