Tess Daly, the beloved presenter of Strictly Come Dancing, is turning back the clock with her superfood diet and rigorous yoga routine. The former model attributes her youthful appearance to a disciplined lifestyle packed with avocados, blueberries, nuts, and spinach.
A source told Closer Magazine: 'All of Tess' treatments are in addition to going hardcore on her diet and exercise regime - loading up on all the foods proven to help reverse the ageing process like avocados, blueberries, nuts and spinach, as well as upping her yoga workouts to twice daily.'
Reflecting on her modelling career, Daly revealed the pressure she faced about her looks. 'I was told so many times, 'you should look this way', then I was told 'you should put weight on'. That's when I realised to take it with a pinch of salt.' Now in her 50s, she relies on a consistent skincare routine and said: 'I believe in investing in my skin as I do in my general health, looking after what you have got. Over time, my skin felt more radiant, boosted and fresh.'
Among her beauty secrets is Ultratherapy, a non-invasive treatment that promotes collagen and lifts the skin without surgery. The source added that Daly has regular anti-ageing treatments, especially before the new series of Strictly, including laser facials, micro needling, Ultratherapy, Botox, and veneers.
However, the mother-of-two has disclosed that she must avoid drinking water for two hours before presenting the live Saturday show, as she cannot take toilet breaks during recording. 'I can't drink any water for two hours before the show,' she told Elle magazine. 'As we are live, there is just not enough time to get to the loo.' The only exception was during her pregnancies with daughters Phoebe and Amber.
