Tess Daly has been left emotional after her daughter with ex-husband Vernon Kay shared an update following her move to New York earlier this year.
Phoebe Kay, the eldest of Tess, from Stockport, and Bolton-born Vernon's two children, revealed in January that she had ditched the UK for the Big Apple, sharing a photo of herself enjoying a rooftop bar on her Instagram Story.
At the time, it appeared that the relocation from London was only temporary, as Phoebe, now 21, wrote alongside a post looking out at the Empire State Building and other skyscrapers from the venue: "Home for a while..."
Phoebe's New York update
Phoebe, whose famous parents, who announced their split in May, also share a teenager, Amber, has since shared updates from her stay across the pond, in between visiting the UK and joining her family on their luxury holidays, which earlier this year included a trip to the Caribbean.
In her latest social media post, she shared a video which featured different clips from her time in NYC, which she captioned: "A little glimpse into the last few months in NYC. Truly the best time and memories…#nyc." And it moved her mum, as Tess commented on the post: "Made me emotional watching this [heart emojis]. Mum xx."
Working alongside her daughter
Earlier this month, Tess revealed she's working alongside her daughter following her Strictly Come Dancing exit, but fans were left distracted as they quickly pointed out how much Phoebe looked like her BBC Radio 2 star dad.
Posting a picture of the pair on Instagram on August 5, Tess wrote: "No longer bring your daughter to work day, but working alongside her [love heart eyes emoji] @phoebeekay."
In response, @auds777 said: "And is the double of her dad." @gdip11 commented: "She's like her Dad." @presn_gyl_e7 wrote: "She looks like Vern." @ltwig7 replied: "She's Vernes double." @hullvikings2001 posted: "Both Beautiful. Separation announcement
Meanwhile, Vernon and Tess confirmed their decision to separate after 22 years of marriage back in May. In a statement announcing the news, they said they "remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority".
