During a 2014 show, Liam was spotted keeping a seat empty for Noel. When a fan asked if he did this at every gig, Liam replied, 'Yes, you never know.' The gesture was noted again at Reading Festival on 25 August 2024, days before the reunion was confirmed, where Liam dedicated a song to Noel, calling him the 'greatest songwriter.'
Despite the reunion announcement, some fans remain sceptical about the brothers' ability to coexist, fearing the truce may be financially motivated. Reports suggest the tour could earn the pair up to £50 million.
