Tamzin Outhwaite has seemingly offered a truce to her ex-husband, Tom Ellis, by sharing one of his Instagram posts on her own Stories. The former EastEnders star re-posted a photo from Ellis's premiere of his new film, The Thursday Murder Club, in which he posed with their two children, Flo, 17, and Marnie, 12.
Accompanying the shared image, Outhwaite wrote: 'My heart is bursting' and added the hashtag 'suchaproudmama'. The couple, who were introduced by actor James McAvoy, married in 2006 and split in 2014 after nine years of marriage.
Outhwaite has previously spoken candidly about co-parenting with Ellis, who lives in Los Angeles. On the Parenting Hell podcast, she described him as 'in and out' of their children's lives, noting that their younger daughter was not even one when they separated.
Despite the difficulties, Outhwaite expressed pride in how far she and her family have come. Last year, she told OK! magazine that she was 'happy single', valuing her freedom and busy life.
