Scots singer Tallia Storm has paid tribute to her father, Sascha Hartmann, following his sudden death in Switzerland. The 27-year-old Glasgow-born former host of Capital Scotland breakfast shared the devastating news on her social media on Thursday night.

Tallia, who is Brooklyn Beckham's ex-girlfriend, called her father her 'world,' 'hero,' and the 'inspiration behind her music career.' She wrote on Instagram: 'I have no words. My heart is broken. I cannot understand any of this. Our world has shattered and will never be the same.'

Father's Background and Family
Tallia's father passed away in Lugano, Switzerland, on Wednesday. He had moved there with Tallia's mother, Tessa Hartmann, in December 'to start a new chapter in their lives.' The couple raised four children: Tallia, Valentina, Johnnie, and Zachary.
Sascha Hartmann was a respected musician, composer, and artist. Tallia rose to fame as a teenager after being championed by music icon Sir Elton John. She has built a successful career as a singer, TV presenter, and media personality.

Funeral arrangements are expected to take place in Lugano next week. Tessa founded the Scottish Fashion Awards in 2006 and is one of the original cast members of ITVBe's The Real Housewives of Jersey.
