Susanna Reid has given her Instagram followers a look at her Ibiza summer holiday, sharing photos of herself in a black one-piece swimsuit and denim shorts. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, is taking a break from the ITV breakfast programme but made a brief return via FaceTime to ask viewers to vote for the show after its National Television Award nomination.
FaceTime Appeal to Viewers
During the call, Reid said: "Normally what happens in Ibiza stays in Ibiza but this morning I am on special duty for GMB. We are absolutely the best daytime. By the way, yesterday I was at one of the best daytime clubs in Ibiza – other daytime clubs are available – and I had a little heads up. They had the lovely women out doing the placards...I think you have a photograph."
The television star then posted a series of images on Instagram with the caption: "IBIZA! Away from home, this is my favourite place on earth." She added that she has been visiting every year for over a decade and recently learned the island was the destination for her parents' first foreign holiday together in 1959.
Clubs, Sunsets and Selfies
Reid's holiday snaps show her partying at O Beach, attending a performance by Calvin Harris at the Ushuaïa superclub, and seeing Fatboy Slim at Cafe Mambo. She also posed for a selfie by the shore, wore a high neck black dress and matching sunglasses, and shared pictures of "pretty restaurants" she visited.
In her Instagram post, Reid wrote: "Don't let anyone tell you that you are too old, that you shouldn't wear the swimsuit - or the shorts! Thank you Ibiza - see you next year." She also urged fans to vote for GMB to win the Best Daytime TV award.
