Emma Harbour's Roles on Coronation Street and Emmerdale
Emma Harbour appeared on Coronation Street in two separate stints: first in 2001 as Toyah Battersby's rape counsellor, and later in 2017 and 2020 as a hospital medic at Weatherfield General. She also portrayed a prosecution barrister in Emmerdale during Mark Bails' court case.
Kate Harbour's Voice Work in Bob the Builder
Kate Harbour is a voice actress best known for providing multiple voices for the children's series Bob the Builder, most notably the character Wendy.
Sue Cleaver was adopted at 10 days old and traced her birth mother in her early twenties, discovering her half-sisters. Speaking about her upbringing on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, she said: "I'm adopted. I had a lot of attachment disorders that started in my teens. Trying on personalities like coats. I wasn't my authentic self."
She recalled meeting actor Michael N. Harbour at drama school: "When we walked in on the first day, he turned to Dave Threlfall and went, 'Oh my God, she's the absolute double of my wife when I met her.'" Sue added: "It's uncanny and I've got two half sisters who are all in the business - Kate is huge in animation and Emma was an actress. It's lovely because my mum and my birth mother, we've all met, been out for dinner, we've all kept in touch. So, we've all had lovely relationships ever since - so it's a nice ending. I'm very lucky."
Fans were stunned by the revelation, with one X user posting: "I learned a few years ago that Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street)'s half-sister is Kate Harbour, who voiced Wendy in Bob the Builder."
Cleaver's character Eileen Grimshaw left the cobbles in 2025 after relocating to Thailand for a fresh start with her son Jason (Ryan Thomas). Coronation Street airs weekday nights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
