Strictly Come Dancing professionals Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon have shared what they described as 'very big news' with fans ahead of their return to the ballroom this autumn.
The dancers, who are from America and Australia respectively, joined the BBC One dance contest's professional line-up for the first time last year. During the 2025 series, Julian competed alongside EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal, reaching the semi-final despite several dance-offs. Alexis made it to the final with YouTube and TikTok star George Clarke.
It was confirmed in May that the pair would return for their second stint on the show. They will be joined by returning pros Aljaz Skorjanec, Amy Dowden, Carlos Gu, Dianne Buswell, Jowita Przystal, Kai Widdrington, Katya Jones, Lauren Oakley, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin and Vito Coppola.
New Pros Join the Line-Up
Five new professionals were also announced to join the programme following the departures of Gorka Marquez, Michelle Tsiakkas, Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova and Luba Mushtuk earlier this year. The newcomers are Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby and Mark Karmalita, who will make their debut when Strictly returns in September.
The new dancers have been seen heading into rehearsals for the first time alongside the returning pros. The dancers usually pre-record routines set to feature in the series, with dates for those pre-records already confirmed ahead of crucial dates for the 2026 series, which were revealed this week.
Donahey's Dancing with the Stars Announcement
Alongside their Strictly return, Alexis and Julian have shared news of their participation in Donahey's Dancing with the Stars experience next year. In a video shared to Donahey's Instagram page, Julian said: 'Hey guys, it's Julian and Alexis and we have some big news. Very, very big! We will be performing at Donahey's Dancing with the Stars 2027 for the very first time.'
Alexis added: 'Newbies for the first time and guess what, we will be performing, we'll be teaching and we are going to have so much and we're so excited to share this with you guys!'
The caption of the video announcement read: 'Beyond excited to announce the incredible @julian_caillon & @alexis_warr will be teaching and performing at ALL THREE @donaheys Dancing With The Stars in 2027! Get ready for inspiring workshops, breathtaking showcases, unmissable Q&As and plenty of magical moments...'
