Strictly Come Dancing fans believe they have spotted a clue about the 2025 celebrity line-up after a new professional dancer mentioned Geordie Shore in an interview. Julian Caillon, one of two new pros joining the BBC show this year, made the remark shortly after the professional line-up was confirmed.
The BBC announced in April that the 2025 series would feature returning professionals including Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, and Gorka Marquez, alongside newcomers Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon. Rehearsals began on Monday, July 28, with the pros pre-recording group numbers for the upcoming run.
Fans on X, formerly Twitter, were quick to connect Caillon's comment to reality TV star Vicky Pattison. User @strictlysvito posted: "So in their interview Julian mentions Geordie Shore… i'm telling you now Vicky Pattison’s Strictly journey is incoming & I CANNOT WAIT."
Professional dancer Michelle Tsiakkas appeared on Good Morning Britain this week but said she was unaware of the celebrity line-up. "I don’t even know who they are," she admitted. "We’re in the same boat as the public."
The BBC has not yet confirmed any celebrity contestants for the 2025 series, which is expected to air later this year.
