The Championship Match

Both players were aiming for back-to-back titles. Sinner sought to retain his Wimbledon crown after a straight-sets victory over Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals. Zverev, meanwhile, aimed to add a second consecutive Grand Slam after his breakthrough win at Roland Garros last month. He reached the final by ending the fairytale run of British wildcard Arthur Fery.

Women's Singles Final Tribute

On Saturday, Linda Noskova won the women's singles final after recovering from a second-set collapse to defeat Karolina Muchova. In an emotional tribute, Noskova thanked her mother, saying, “There’s one more person I’d like to thank which is my mum, I definitely would not be standing here without her, so thank you.” She looked towards the sky and blew a kiss. Overwhelmed, she added, “I don’t cry normally, this is not okay for me! I have been enjoying these two weeks so much, all the sad tears, all the happy tears, all the sweat and blood put into this, it was all worth it. I will definitely never forget these two weeks.”
