Stacey Solomon has unveiled the results of her nine-month fitness journey, showing off a toned tummy and impressive abs in a new Instagram post. The Loose Women star and mother of five shared a mirror selfie in a black workout set, captioning it with a message of encouragement for others.
Solomon admitted she initially started exercising to prove a point and get rid of her husband Joe's treadmill. Now, nine months later, she feels 'more awake and alive' thanks to daily exercise. She wrote: 'For anyone who thinks they can't, I promise, you can if I can. I was allergic to exercise. One step at a time. You've got this.'
The 33-year-old has been focusing on her health with the support of her sister, personal trainer Samantha Stone. Solomon now attends Barry's Bootcamp and works out at home. She also cooks from scratch rather than eating processed foods, though she doesn't restrict herself.
Solomon admitted on the Energy Equation podcast that she felt 'really unhealthy' after having three children in four years. She wanted to feel athletic again and avoid mobility issues like those her mother Fiona faces. Despite still finding exercise tough, she now feels 'horrible' if she misses a workout.
Juggling five children, her home Pickle Cottage, and work commitments, Solomon acknowledges the challenge but says: 'You've just got to suck it up. It's going to be hard and you're going to be very tired.' She encourages others to power through to achieve their goals.
